Committees and New Board Member

We had a very productive board meeting last night! 💪 We are ecstatic to welcome @Jordie (Jornado🌪 #11 ) to the board as a Board Member at Large! Woohoo!!

We are excited to work with you as we keep this league moving forward We have begun the process of forming Committees, which are groups of skaters volunteering to help the league with specific duties. We will begin by forming the Safety Committee and the Hospitality Committee.

Safety Committee This committee is dedicated to skater safety during practices, bouts, and other events. Their duties will include things such as creating procedures, stocking first aid kits, tracking First Aid / AED / CPR training statuses, and more. The first step in creating this committee will be appointing a Safety Officer who will act as the Committee Head. If you are interested in helping us stay safe, please follow the instructions for applying for this position below!

Hospitality Committee This committee is dedicated to taking care of Officials during scrimmages and bouts, as well as organizing efforts to show our care and love when one of us is struggling. The primary duty of this committee is providing food for Officials during scrimmages and bouts (league will handle the expenses). If you are interested in helping us and our Officials feel welcome and loved, please follow the instructions for applying for this committee below!
